Testimonials

In addition to being insightful, intuitive, and clear, Cody's greatest and most unique gift is his ability to be so utterly present with both orchestra and singers—and in such a way that feels natural, unforced, and absolutely in sync. He leads from the podium with confidence and poise, bringing out the best from all; and he does it with kindness, collegiality, and ease.

Working with Cody Martin is always such an exciting and supportive experience. We've tackled works as difficult as contemporary American opera repertoire, to Verdi, to Golden Age Musicals and beyond. His ear for detail and expression are of the highest order and his command of ensembles, from quartets to full orchestra, is stirring. I always look forward to our collaborations; a true singer's conductor.
